Anti-social behaviour in Camborne Pool and Redruth |
||
|
We are receiving an increasing amount of reports of young people knocking on doors, kicking gates and running away in residential areas. While some see this as a prank, this behaviour can cause significant distress and fear to elderly and vulnerable members of our community.
Anti Social behaviour is ANY conduct likely to cause harassment, alarm and distress to others.
We ask parents, teachers and guardians to please speak with their children about the impact of these actions can have. What seems like harmless fun can leave residents feeling intimidated in their own homes.
We are increasing patrols in the affected areas and if you are experiencing this behaviour then please report this to police. If you have CCTV, doorbell footage and/or information that may lead to identify those responsible please call 101 or use the online form. in an emergency, or if anyone feels threatened or intimidated or in immediate danger then please call 999.
Lets work together to keep our communities safe and reassure those that are feeling vulnerable.
Please consider completing the Devon and Cornwall community confidence survey: | ||
